Actually EverNote is a Note taker cum organizer which lets you save entire webpages or excerpts from a webpage.With EverNote 2.1 you can easily capture, store and quickly access typed and handwritten memos, webpage excerpts, emails, phone messages, addresses, passwords, brainstorms, sketches, documents and more!

EverNote adds a Button in the "Standard Toolbar" of your browser, to save a webpage all you have to do is click this button. To save just an excerpt (just a part of a webpage or a particular section/item ) from a webpage, just highlight that part and click the EverNote button in your toolbar. EverNote automatically creates a Title for saved webpage/excerpts so you are saved from the trouble of creating names for your saved data.

The data saved is organized as notes and you can choose to sort your notes into categories, password protect them, export them to XML and more. Note: If you use Internet Explorer, you must have noticed that Ctrl+S does not work in IE,to save a webpage in IE you have to go to File >Click on Save >Enter the File Name>Click On Save. You have to repeat these steps every time you want to save a webpage. And to save just a part/excerpt from a webpage you have to use another application like MS Word which uses up a lot of memory and may slow down your system. EverNote saves you from all this trouble.

Google Maps is a free web mapping service application and technology provided by Google.

Google Maps features a map that can be navigated by dragging the mouse, or using the mouse wheel to zoom in (mouse wheel up) or out (mouse wheel down) to show detailed street information. Users can enter an address, intersection or general area to quickly find it on the map. There are quiet a few mapping services avialable on the internet but as far as I am concerned Google Maps is the best. You can easily explore your city in Google Maps and with the Satellite view you can even trace your house, school, college, office anything. Never been to a place before and want to get directions. Well don't ask your friends, just use Google Maps.

Google Maps offers four viewing modes by default: Map (topographic and street map), Satellite
(satellite and high-resolution aerial photographs), Hybrid (Street maps overlaid on satellite and
high-resolution aerial photographs) and Street View ( I am not sure if its available in India).
